Rob Havice is director of K-9 at the SoRite Company. Based in Medford, Oregon, he is a retired law enforcement professional with more than 32 years of experience. He served as a K-9 handler for 25 years and as a SWAT operator, working with six patrol and detection dogs during his career. Havice also served as a Homeland Security Investigations task force officer assigned as a K-9 handler to a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area team. He is a master K-9 trainer through the Oregon Police Canine Association, where he served as detection chairman for 13 years, and currently serves as president of the International Police Canine Association.
